Orest Semotiuk seminar in the seminar series “Ukrainian Tuesdays”

On 14.05.2024 Orest Semotiuk was a speaker in a seminar as part of the “Ukrainian Tuesdays” series under the auspices of the Institute of Slavic Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences. In his presentation “IDEOLOGY VS. QUASI-IDEOLOGY: ‘Racism’ and ‘Ukrofascism’ in global, Ukrainian and Russian political caricatures and memes he emphasized the importance of the fight against Russian propaganda and disinformation, as well as of defending Ukraine’s national interests abroad. The presentation was followed by an interesting and constructive discussion among the participants.
