Dr. Semotiuk in Krosno

On September 23-25th Dr. Orest Semotiuk participated in the international conference “Difficult Neighborhoods: The Semiotics of Conflict in Culture, Literature and Language” in Krosno. He presented a paper “Imagefare: Russian-Ukrainian Armed Conflict in Global and National Political Cartoons (Multimodal Content Analysis)”.

The event was co-organized by The Institute of Humanities of the State University of Applied Sciences in Krosno, Jagiellonian University, Kraków, St. Mary’s University College, Queen’s University, Belfast, and Cracow Tertium Society for the Promotion of Language Studies.
