From June 7-10, Dr. Orest Semotiuk was in Brno for the 16th Congress of International Society for Ethnology and Folklore (SIEF) “Living Uncertainty“.

Dr. Semotiuk spoke on the panel “Heritage as resistance – looking forward to cultural recovery,” during which he gave a lecture “Superhero vs. butcher: Zelensky & Putin in political cartoons on Russian aggression”.
